LWISSD is looking for a Training Event Coordinator whose primary role will be to administrate the planning and logistics required to host live and online training events within the US and internationally. 

The candidate will work from home, with a worldwide team of teachers to identify, organize and promote specialist training, to market the curriculum worldwide, and help trainers develop new events appropriate to their specializations and locations.

In addition, this position is responsible for development of marketing collateral and close liaison with the website designer to ensure content related to online marketing and course delivery is posted, events are fully promoted, and training and event information is readily available to potential and existing students.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational and customer interaction skills, marketing and event management experience, and be able to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities in a professional manner.

The role will work closely with the Student Liaison team to ensure a positive experience for prospective students, ensuring their applications and enrollment are processed in a timely and professional manner.

Position Summary: 
Day-to-day tasks include but are not limited to:
• Strategic planning, organization and logistics of training events
• Researching hotel venues to host training courses and workshops in the United States and internationally, arranging for audio/visual rental and setup and other components required to support specific courses and workshops
• Managing trainer activity and payment 
• Preparing and monitoring event and organizational budgets, processing invoices and providing a final event budget summary.
• Coordinating textual, audio and video content as needed to support course marketing and online delivery
• Managing own workflow and deadlines
• Providing periodic administrative support and backup support for other team members as needed.
• Managing multi-channel interaction, including in-person, telephone, email and web-based correspondence.
• Other event planning and coordination duties as assigned.

Desired Skills and Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in event planning
• 1-2 years' experience in administrative support or customer service role
• Qualified candidates must be proficient in oral and written communications and Microsoft Office. 
• Familiarity with PayPal, adding PayPal buttons, and managing PayPal invoices is desirable. 

Working hours, travel and transport:
• Candidate will work from their own home with occasional meetings required in the Jamestown NY area.
• Up to 20 hours per week within 8am to 5pm time frame, with some flexibility required.
• Occasional additional support of weekend workshops may be required.
• Candidate should be willing to travel internationally if needed. 
• Possibility of increase in hours as the role grows.
• Ideal candidate will have a reliable vehicle and positive driving record. 
• A basic background check is required.
• Compensation will be based on skills and experience.
